Accra, Ghana. A serial killer is murdering street children; boys and girls who live in the gutters, invisible to the wealthy, ignored by the police. Inspector Darko Dawson, still mourning his wife's recent death, is reluctantly assigned to the case. He doesn't want it. But he knows these children. He grew up among poverty. As Dawson investigates, he discovers that the murders are connected to a powerful child trafficking ring. The killer is not a random madman he is sending a message.
