Water Services Amendment Bill B24-2025

The Bill proposes amendments to the Water Services Act, 1997. It provides for the registration of persons who install and operate water services works, introduces a licensing system for certain municipal water service delivery mechanisms, establishes a water services licensing authority, strengthens requirements for water boards, and expands inspection, compliance, enforcement, offences and penalties.
