Treaty for the Establishment of the African Medicines Agency

The Treaty establishes the African Medicines Agency and provides a framework for strengthening the regulation of medicines and other medical products in Africa. It promotes cooperation among national and regional regulatory authorities and addresses the quality, safety and effectiveness of medicines, vaccines and other health products.
