The Political Parties (Registration and Monitoring) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025

United Republic of Tanzania – Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.

These regulations amend Tanzania's framework for registering and monitoring political parties. They introduce updated requirements concerning party registration applications, party leadership information, internal elections, membership records, party directorates and submission of relevant particulars to the Registrar. They also introduce requirements concerning secret-ballot voting in party elections. The document supports transparency, regulatory supervision and accountability in political-party administration.
