Parliamentary Election Petition Rules, 2025

These rules establish the procedures for challenging parliamentary election results in Tanzania. They address who may file an election petition, the preparation and submission of petitions, security for costs, the presentation of evidence, court hearings, witness procedures and the determination of election disputes. They are useful to parliamentary candidates, political parties, election officials, lawyers, judges and election observers.
