The Ministry of Finance’s Mid-Year Budget Review examines Tanzania’s economic performance and the implementation of the 2025/26 government budget during July–December 2025. It discusses economic growth, inflation, the financial sector, public debt, government revenue, expenditure and progress towards budget targets. The report also identifies implementation challenges and outlines measures intended to address them during the remainder of the financial year. It gives citizens and researchers a way to compare planned public finances with reported implementation progress.
