These regulations amend Tanzania's Business Licensing Regulations, 2023. They introduce additional information required when applying for or renewing a business licence. Applicants must provide evidence of using digital payment systems or equipment, including Lipa Namba or TANQR. Certain applicants operating in minerals, livestock, agricultural produce, timber and fisheries must also provide proof of ownership of a bank account. The document is useful to business owners, entrepreneurs, licensing authorities and regulatory compliance professionals.
