Special Pensions Amendment Bill (B8–2026)

The Special Pensions Amendment Bill, 2026 proposes amendments to the Special Pensions Act, 1996 concerning previously determined benefits, overlapping benefit entitlements, survivor lump-sum benefits, funeral benefits, late applications and reconsideration of determinations. It also updates certain definitions and repeals a provision of the existing Act.
