Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The SADC Protocol on the Facilitation of Movement of Persons establishes a regional framework for facilitating the movement of people among SADC Member States. It addresses lawful entry, visa-free entry for qualifying visits, temporary and permanent residence, establishment, employment and the harmonisation of immigration laws and practices, together with phases for implementation.
