Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The SADC Protocol on Energy establishes a framework for cooperation among Southern African Development Community member states in the development, management and utilization of energy resources. It promotes energy security, regional integration of energy systems, investment in energy infrastructure, sustainable energy development and cooperation in energy planning and policy.
