Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The SADC Mutual Defence Pact establishes mechanisms for cooperation among Member States in defence and security matters. It addresses collective self-defence, conflict resolution, military preparedness, destabilising factors, consultation, settlement of disputes, non-interference and arrangements concerning implementation and withdrawal from the Pact.
