Rwanda Law No. 079/2024 of 23 December 2024 Approving Ratification of the Financing Agreement for Green Finance, Investment and Trade

This law authorises Rwanda to ratify a financing agreement with the International Development Association for the Second Programmatic Development Policy Financing to Boost Green Finance, Investment and Trade in Rwanda. The agreement provides two separate credits, one of USD 10.8 million and another of USD 118.2 million. The law’s substantive provisions approve the ratification of the agreement and set out its language and entry-into-force provisions. The financing agreement was signed in Kigali on 21 December 2024 and was published in the Official Gazette on 23 December 2024.
