Rwanda Law No. 073/2024 of 14 October 2024 Approving Ratification of the EUR 50 Million Facility Agreement for Climate-Related Institutional Reforms

This law approves Rwanda’s ratification of a EUR 50 million financing agreement with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A., acting as manager of the Italian Climate Fund. The financing is intended to provide budgetary support for institutional reforms connected with Rwanda’s efforts to meet its national targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement was signed in Kigali on 21 June 2024 and is reproduced as an annex to the law in the official publication.
