Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The Revised SADC Protocol on Gender and Development provides a consolidated regional framework covering gender equality and equity, constitutional and legal rights, participation in governance, education, economic empowerment, access to property and resources, employment, gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, peace building, media and information, and gender and the environment. The consolidated text incorporates the 2008 Protocol and the 2016 amendment.
