The Revised Protocol on Shared Watercourses provides a framework for cooperation among SADC Member States in the sustainable, equitable and coordinated management, protection and use of shared watercourses. It covers information exchange, planned measures, environmental protection, management of shared watercourses, emergency situations, shared watercourse institutions and the settlement of disputes.
