Protocol to the Treaty Establishing SADC on Immunities and Privileges 1992
Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The Protocol establishes immunities and privileges for SADC, its property, assets, institutions and officials. It addresses immunity from legal process, searches and confiscation, the inviolability of official communications, tax exemptions and financial controls. It also provides corresponding privileges and immunities for Member State representatives, conference participants and experts undertaking missions for SADC.
