Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa

The Protocol establishes regional standards for the protection and promotion of the rights of women in Africa. It addresses equality, non-discrimination, political participation, education, health, economic and social welfare rights, protection from violence and harmful practices, and access to justice.
