Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Establishment of an African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights

The Protocol establishes the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights and sets out its jurisdiction, composition, organisation and procedures. It complements the African Charter by providing a judicial mechanism for dealing with human-rights matters at the continental level.
