Protocol on the Development of Tourism 1998
Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The Protocol on the Development of Tourism establishes tourism as an area of regional cooperation within SADC. It seeks to promote sustainable tourism development, improve tourism infrastructure and service standards, encourage private-sector participation, support investment and facilitate cooperation among Member States in developing the regional tourism industry.
