Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The SADC Protocol on Mining establishes a framework for cooperation among Member States in developing and managing the region's mineral resources. It promotes harmonisation of mining policies and standards, information sharing on mineral resources, development of technical capacity, investment, small-scale mining, and cooperation on environmental, occupational health and safety matters
