Southern African Development Community (SADC)
The SADC Protocol on Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking establishes a framework for regional cooperation against illicit drug trafficking and related criminal activity. It provides for cooperation among law-enforcement agencies, mutual legal assistance, domestic legislative measures, implementation of relevant international conventions, drug-demand reduction programmes and measures to address corruption connected with drug trafficking.
