Prevention of Organised Crime Act 121 of 1998
Parliament of the Republic of South Africa
The Act provides measures to combat organised crime, money laundering and criminal gang activities. It creates offences relating to racketeering and proceeds of unlawful activities and provides for the preservation and forfeiture of property connected with unlawful activity, as well as the Criminal Assets Recovery Account.
