The Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 12 of 2004 strengthens measures for preventing and combating corruption and corrupt activities. It creates offences relating to corruption, provides investigative measures, establishes restrictions relating to persons and enterprises convicted of corrupt activities involving tenders and contracts, and places reporting duties on certain people in positions of authority
