Nigeria's Roadmap for Power Sector Reform

This roadmap sets out the Federal Government’s plan for reforming Nigeria’s electricity sector, with emphasis on improving electricity supply, attracting private-sector investment, restructuring generation, transmission and distribution, reforming the fuel-to-power sector, and improving service delivery. It was developed under the Presidency during the Goodluck Jonathan administration. The document builds on the National Electric Power Policy and the Electric Power Sector Reform Act.
