The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act, 2018 establishes the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal. It provides the legal framework for promoting competition, protecting consumers, prohibiting anti-competitive practices, regulating restrictive agreements and abuse of dominant market positions, and providing remedies for consumer violations in Nigeria.
