National Policy on Occupational, Safety and Health

The National Policy on Occupational, Safety and Health provides the policy framework for protecting the safety, health and welfare of workers in Nigerian workplaces. It supports the prevention and reduction of work-related accidents, injuries, diseases and other occupational hazards and guides the implementation and improvement of occupational safety and health practices in Nigeria. The Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment identifies the policy as one of its official policy documents
