The National Policy on Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition provides Nigeria’s policy framework for improving nutrition among women, infants and young children. It addresses maternal nutrition, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, micronutrient supplementation, coordination of nutrition interventions and other measures intended to improve the survival, growth and development of mothers and children.
