National Integrated Electricity Policy

The National Integrated Electricity Policy sets out the Federal Government's policy direction for the development and reform of Nigeria's electricity supply industry. It provides a framework for improving electricity supply, strengthening the sector's institutional and regulatory arrangements, expanding access to electricity, and supporting investment and sustainable development across the power sector. The policy was prepared under the Electricity Act 2023 and was approved by the Federal Executive Council in 2025.
