This Memorandum of Understanding provides a framework for cooperation between South Africa and Tanzania in industry and trade programmes. It addresses investment promotion, industrial and trade cooperation, technical cooperation and mechanisms for monitoring implementation. The agreement builds on an earlier 1998 memorandum and reflects cooperation within the wider regional and continental economic integration framework.
