These guidelines establish revised minimum capital requirements for regulated capital market entities in Nigeria. Issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission, they are intended to strengthen the financial capacity and resilience of capital market operators, improve investor protection, support effective supervision, and maintain the stability and integrity of Nigeria's capital market. The guidelines use a risk-sensitive approach that takes account of the nature and scale of regulated activities.
