Expropriation Act 13 of 2024 (English / Sepedi)

The Expropriation Act 13 of 2024 provides a modern legal framework for the expropriation of property for a public purpose or in the public interest. It sets out procedures for expropriation, compensation arrangements, dispute resolution, and circumstances in which nil compensation may be just and equitable. The Act repeals the Expropriation Act of 1975 and aligns expropriation procedures with the Constitution of South Africa.
