ECOWAS Revised Treaty, 1993

The Revised Treaty establishes the legal framework of the Economic Community of West African States and sets out its objectives, institutions and principles for regional cooperation and economic integration. Signed in Cotonou in 1993, it provides for cooperation among member states in areas including trade, economic development, movement of people and regional integration.
