Economic Regulation of Transport Act 6 of 2024 (English / isiZulu)

The Economic Regulation of Transport Act 6 of 2024 establishes a single framework for the economic regulation of transport in South Africa. It provides for access to rail infrastructure, regulation of transport facilities and services, price controls, complaints and appeals, and establishes the Transport Economic Regulator and Transport Economic Council. It also provides enforcement powers and consequential amendments to transport legislation.
