Constitutional Amendment No. 03 of 13 August 2008 to the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 4 June 2003, as Amended to Date

This 2008 constitutional amendment revised a number of provisions in Rwanda's 2003 Constitution as previously amended. The changes reflected in the consolidated constitutional text include provisions concerning marriage, the composition and election of the Chamber of Deputies, State finance, the organisation and functioning of the Government, the dissolution of the Chamber of Deputies, the organisation of courts, the High Council of the Judiciary, the Rwanda Defence Forces and the commencement of laws and regulations. It also repealed the transitional provisions contained in several articles of the Constitution.
