Amendment No. 04 of 17 June 2010 to the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 4 June 2003, as Amended to Date

Adopted by the Parliament of Rwanda, this 2010 amendment revises a wide range of provisions in the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 4 June 2003 as previously amended. The document changes constitutional provisions concerning political organisations, Parliament and the Chamber of Deputies, the President and Government, the promulgation of laws, the judiciary and judicial institutions, the Rwanda National Police, national security institutions, public accountability bodies and national councils. It also amends or removes certain existing constitutional provisions and transitional articles.
