Amendment No. 02 of 8 December 2005 to the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 4 June 2003, as Amended to Date

Adopted by the Parliament of Rwanda and promulgated by the President of the Republic, this 2005 amendment modifies a number of provisions in the 2003 Constitution as previously amended. Its changes address Rwanda's administrative entities, the operation of political organisations and several constitutional provisions relating to the organisation and functioning of State institutions. The amendment was initiated by the President of the Republic following consideration and adoption by the Cabinet and was published in a Special Official Gazette dated 8 December 2005.
